She took her makeup techniques off stage and into her day to day life, turning her hobby into a life long career. She soon found herself working at MAC Cosmetics in California, then as a store manager in Hawaii. Her focus in the beauty industry, eventually lead to becoming a licensed Esthetician and a Beauty Instructor.
Freelance makeup became her specialty with numerous clients in California, New York as well as in Honolulu, Hawaii where Kecia currently resides. Her professionalism, attention to detail, reliability as well as her knowledge of lighting (indoor / outdoor, studio photography), provides a positive work ethic. Giorgio Armani, NARS, Dior, MUD, and Smashbox are just a few makeup lines she has actually worked with both on set and in retail.
With the support of Make-up Designory and their exclusive cosmetics line and curriculum, Kecia spearheaded the MUD makeup program and brought advanced makeup workshops to Bella Torre Academy from 2009-2011. There she taught students the basics of makeup application and advanced techniques.
Kecia is currently represented as a make-up artist for Wilhelmina Hawaii Agency. Her specialty consists of high end modeling and fashion shoots, Film and Television.
